My grandmother's toffee recipe here.
Rather than chopped nuts, I melted candy melts in a ziploc bag, snipped the corner, and drizzled it across chocolate-topped toffee.

I made your toffee for a Yankee Swap Gift Basket over Christmas. It was a HUGE hit. There were a few pieces left that didn't fit into the bags with little fir trees on them.... and those pieces disappeared in a BLINK over dessert time.
